Statistics on disabilities and church participation for families affected by disability.
Statistics of children with special needs
This is a great info graphic from www.TheInclusiveChurch.com showing disability statistics in the US in 2013.
Statistics of households with members with disabilities and needs within those households
United Press International, in a survey done in 2008, stated that nearly 25% of families with children have a household member with disabilities. One can only imagine that as the rate of autism diagnosis has been on the rise over the last decade that this statistic may have increased since that study was done as well.

Statistics of church attendance by adults with disabilities
Dr. Steve Grcevich shares information from the 2010 Disability Survey with the 'broken down' statistics of % of adults with disabilities that attend church at least once a month and a comparison of non-disabled persons. It all rolls down to... there has not yet been a significant statistical increase on the number of adults with disabilities involved in the church. We hope to see that change!

The way ministering to one family changed this church's ministry outlook for the better
When one family reached out to an unchurched neighbor, their world view of people with disabilities changed. The friendship challenged them to find a way for their enwfound friends to become engaged in a church that could properly care for and introduce their disabled daughter to Jesus as well as welcome in her parents.
